'Find Me Keep Me' was a project run by Creative Peterborough involving 52 artists who collaborated to produce individual works and works in small groups, which were then distributed to people in Peterborough city centre who were given a map and some clues to go on a 'Treasure Hunt' to find works of art hidden in public spaces.
It was a wonderful experience working closely with other artists and engaging with an unsuspecting public one brisk Saturday in March.

These 2 images respond to the idea of treasure.

'Treasure No.1'  is representative of the Alchemical glyph for both Gold and the Sun, which is a circle with a dot inside.
'Treasure No.2' represents the classic image of a conquistador from Spain or Portugal, searching for Eldorado, a famed 'city of gold'. The way is locked. This image of the gate and lock is taken of Broadway Cemetery. Beyond the locked gate is a whitish void. Is the city of gold a land of vast material wealth or a place of immaterial treasures?
